Atlanta decor maven: Lara Rossignol

I first saw photos of Lara Rossignol's Atlanta bungalow in my beloved Domino magazine last year, (she won Domino's Reader Choice Award) and I immediately loved everything about her style. I especially love the portrait of her grandmother that she hangs over her living room fireplace. According to Sfgirlbybay's post on Lara, the painting was "by a family friend who was a scenic painter for MGM, apparently he fell for her, while painting it and refused to give it, as promised, to my Grandfather when he finished. Over 30 years later, after he died, his daughter called out of the blue and gave it to them." What a great story. It really is a beautiful portrait - looking at it, can't you tell he painted it with such passion and admiration for her?
