Last Saturday, Lindsay and I went with her mom and stepdad, Paul, to Publix for her cake consultation! Lindsay is having a cupcake cake filled with chocolate and vanilla cupcakes, and a mini wedding cake for the very top. We got to try the cupcakes and the icing, and they gave Lindsay four Publix wine glasses (with water) to wash down the sweets! I have to say, I was blown away at how affordable a cupcake cake is at Publix...it comes highly recommended if you're trying to cut corners with your budget!(pictured: Lindsay and her sweet mom, Jill)

ReplyDeletePublix has the best bakery! I got married on an island of only 800 residents in Florida last summer. No bakery on the island of course, so I knew we'd be getting the cake in Gainesville. I did some research, and I kept reading that Publix was the best place in Gainesville to get a wedding cake. It was really inexpensive, and the best wedding cake I've ever tasted (no kidding). The buttercream frosting is so good I could eat it with a spoon. I think your friend will be really happy with her cupcake/cake!
